A celebration on the horizon!
An anniversary is just around the corner: in August, we’ll be celebrating 5 years of INVAC! It’s crazy how quickly time flies. Especially because there’s always so much going on.
For example, we’re currently expanding our sales team across Europe and are delighted with the successful expansion of our Polish headquarters in Otyń, as well as the positive progress of the new laboratory in Ełk, Masuria.
We owe this fantastic progress at INVAC to our team, where everyone always gives their best! This applies also, and in particular, to Hans-Henning Jesaitis, whom we are now bidding farewell as he enters his well-deserved retirement.
For us, this means: looking back with gratitude – and embarking on new ventures with joy. More on this in the next anniversary newsletter!
Warm regards,
Dagmar Köhler-Repp, Dr. Martin Metzner, Dr. Alexander Repp, Jaroslaw Szubstarski
Focus on healthy turkey flocks – INVAC at TSPC 2026
This year’s TSPC Congress in Chester was once again a key gathering for the international turkey industry. INVAC also used the event to discuss effective approaches to modern poultry farming with scientists, vets and producers. As part of the scientific programme, our Managing Director, Dr Martin Metzner, presented pioneering approaches to the early identification and targeted control of APEC infections. These are among the most significant bacterial health issues in poultry farming.
Autogenous solutions
Multifactorial diseases involving changing combinations of pathogens pose significant challenges for farms worldwide. To address this, INVAC develops autogenous vaccines that are tailored to the specific herd situation and provide targeted support for animal health.
Under the slogan “Highlight your flock’s potential”, INVAC presented concepts for individualised immunoprophylaxis in modern poultry production at the congress. Tailored vaccination strategies are becoming increasingly important, particularly in the context of complex disease outbreaks – such as those associated with Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT), Bordetella bronchiseptica, reoviruses or Staphylococcus aureus.
The positive discussions and high level of interest at TSPC 2026 have shown that practical and scientifically sound approaches to animal health remain in high demand. For us, this is an important incentive to continue on our chosen path.
Farewell to a long-serving member – and a warm welcome!
Changes in the field sales team
On 30 June 2026, our long-standing and highly valued sales representative, Hans-Henning Jesaitis, will be retiring. For decades, he has been a reliable partner to livestock farmers and vets across northern Germany – bringing with him a wealth of expertise, dedication and a sound practical understanding of the industry.
His roots in a farming family, his agricultural studies and his many years’ experience in international animal health sales have shaped him. Hans-Henning brought exactly what matters most: a deep understanding of agriculture and the local people. With his open, solution-oriented manner and his strong network, he became a valued and trusted advisor to many customers.
We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his tremendous dedication, his loyalty and the many personal encounters over the years. He has left a lasting mark on and enriched our field sales team.
New to the sales team from June
From 15 June 2026, Ute Weyhausen will take on the role of Sales and Technical Manager, providing support and advice to our customers in Germany and Western Europe. She will maintain existing contacts and bring fresh impetus to our collaboration.
We extend a warm welcome to her at INVAC and look forward very much to working with her.
A strong European team
At the same time, INVAC is continuing to expand its European sales structure, relying on experienced representatives with strong regional roots and specialist expertise in their respective countries:
Rytis Čepulis brings extensive experience from both academia and the field to the role; as Sales & Technical Manager, he oversees the regions of Eastern Europe and the CIS states, drawing on his high level of technical expertise and close ties to the market.
As Sales & Technical Manager for South-Eastern Europe and the Balkans, Vojin Paunović provides practical advice and works closely with local veterinarians and partners.
Together with our team in the DACH region, this creates a clear, Europe-focused sales structure with regional expertise, short response times and direct, personal communication.
New order forms for individual animal species
Greater clarity for diagnostic test requests
Our range of diagnostic services is constantly being developed and adapted to meet the latest practical requirements. Building on this, updated submission forms are now available, organised by animal species (poultry, cattle and small ruminants, pigs and others), which clearly outline the expanded diagnostic options. The forms enable a more convenient and quicker selection of the desired tests and facilitate clear organisation in day-to-day practice. This makes your diagnostic requests even more efficient and straightforward.
